They readers may be fewer in number than the other dailies, but it is a sign that having a unique and distinct voice continues to work.
This morning, I saw a man reading The Hindu in a train headed for CSMT from Navi Mumbai. He was not just reading; he was underlining words, poring over the details and making notes of the editorial page. He wasn’t reading the newspaper; he was studying it.
